Melissa Carll, BSN, RN, FNE-A

Mrs. Carll attended Catonsville Community college for her Associates degree in nursing and later followed up at Grand Canyon University with her Bachelor’s degree.  She spent much of her career in critical care, and cardiology and in 2020 she decided to become a Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE-A).  At this time, she began working for the Forensic Nursing Department at Mercy Medical Center. She is currently a member of the VOCA team.  She has performed over 100 exams for patients who have fallen victim to human trafficking, and interpersonal violence including elder, strangulation, domestic, and vulnerable persons. She is an active member of Academy of Forensic Nurses.
