Hillary L. Becker earned her associates nursing from CCBC Essex in 2005 and went on to earned her BSN from University of Phoenix in 2014. She has a been a nurse for over 15 years spending most of her time in the Emergency Department. Mrs. Becker first became a Forensic Nurse Examiner in 2008 becoming certified in adult/adolescents. Shortly after in 2010 she earned her pediatric certification as a forensic nurse examiner for the state of Maryland. She is a Charter member of the Academy of Forensic Nursing and a certified instructor in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Throughout her career Mrs. Becker has achieved many notable and distinguished colleague recommendations and awards. More recent to include a Daisy award and Baltimore Magazines Top 50 Nurses of 2017!
In 2017 Hillary took on the task to spearhead the Mercy Human Trafficking committee. As Co-Chair of the Human Trafficking Committee at Mercy Hillary works closely with the Baltimore City Human Trafficking Collaborative and serves on the Victims Service Subcommittee.
Hillary has also collaborated with city officials and leaders to develop a one of a kind program to allow medical professionals to identify, respond and assist survivors of Human Trafficking.
Hillary is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Nursing.
